«Eichwäldli» - Brunnen
At least the older generations still know that the sea monster "Nessie" is up to mischief in front of Brunnen from time to time. What is less well known is that a shipwreck named "Bruno" has been lying here at a depth of 14-16 m since 2007. Thanks to the clear water and the easy-to-dive terrain, it is a worthwhile destination for divers.
The 30-ton cargo ship was sunk especially for wreck diving and has since been used as a training platform. The wreck, the gently sloping dive site, some smaller rocks in the shore area and a diverse flora make the Eichwäldli an ideal area for beginners and advanced divers alike.
Waters: Lake lucerne
Place: Eichwäldli, Brunnen
Highlight: Shipwreck «Bruno»
Suitability: Easy, even for beginners and students
