Cabinet of tree figures
Grown trees, literally turned upside down by artist Alfons Bürgler, can be seen in this cabinet as goblins, women, men, lovers and dancers. The Baumfiguren-Kabinett is a museum for young and old, for families, schools and groups. Alfons Bürgler has playfully arranged the tree figures, placed them in relation to each other and staged them in the room. Giant goblins fill the room. Although the figures are firmly fixed in place, a dance party seems to be taking place - some sway and bend, others strut around or observe what is happening in serene silence.
