On the Schwyz Panorama Trail lies the historic village of "HAGGENEGG", 1414 m above sea level, at the foot of the small Mythen, 7 km above Schwyz.
The vantage point from which you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over Lake Lucerne and Lake Lauerz, over Rigi and Urirotstock as well as over the Schwyz basin. The impressive view from the Haggenegg to the Alpine panorama with over 50 mountain peaks, the highest of which is the Krönten at 3107 m above sea level.
In the cosy restaurant with its 150 seats, you will be spoiled with house specialities such as home-smoked meat and alpine cheese. For dessert, let yourself be surprised by our house coffee and chocolate cake.
