Our tip: Rotenflue - winter hiking combo
Enjoy the ascent with the Rotenflue cable car to the Rotenflue, where the hike to Ibergeregg begins. On the way you will find beautiful mountain restaurants that invite you to linger and wonderful views of the Glärnische chain and the Muotathal Alps. The bus takes you back to the Rotenfluebahn valley station in Rickenbach.

Whether fog, snow or no snow - hiking on the Swiss Path is a pleasure even in the winter months. Please note that trail maintenance is reduced and the Flüelen-Tellsplatte section is still closed. Good planning, good footwear and flexible travel arrangements (there are fewer boats) are essential in winter.
